5 days of bz-ness!!

Nope, I haven't gotten another job to be this busy as not to blog for the last 5days. Too many things to go about that it drains me so tired at night. Have not even planned all the appointments for the coming weeks!! See, July being birthday month for Mrs Muddlehead here (woot!!), there's complimentary this and complimentary that. And Mrs Muddlehead REALLY can do with one or two facials plus one or two spa session. Really. >.< Hmm, I wouldn't mind an additional part time job to earn some money though. :P Let's see what went on, time to test my memory (already have a poor memory, after been pregnant even worse!! hence the muddlehead's motherhood.. >.<)
Monday (visit back to mom's)
Mom's finally back after one month of trip to dad's. Went by for chitchat and also let her "catch up" with her grandson aka JCH. Things are not always so chummy with mom, but i guess everyone gets good and bad days. That's what makes us human and all relationships unique and memorable right? Great time for catch up, eating, going through the little things (and probably more to come in the future) that mom and dad bought for JCH and went around walking with mom and lil lil bro (got 2 brothers..lil bro and lil lil bro..haha..) and JCH at the nearest shopping centre.
Tuesday (housemaid day)
Well, as mentioned it was a day of washing clothes and repacking the room. Its seriously no joke having to squeeze so many things in one room - besides our clothes, bags, bedsheets..there's JCH's clothes, bedsheets, sterilizer, warmer, blender, bottles, diapers, wipes, powder blahblahblah..room is always so messy..trying best to plan what to put where so that the clutter can be maintaines. BUT!! Before all the packing can be done, JCH gotta be fed, entertained, and put to sleep..not in the room to prevent the dust from getting to him. And the countdown begins for one hour of moving, cleaning, packing and wrapping up cleaning my hands to get ready to scoop JCH up and feed him. Ah~! Mothers are meant to have more hands than 2. Now i know. Multi task at HIGH speed!! ( ºoº )
*i'm like typing this amids putting JCH to sleep..and everything before this line was typed in the afternoon..a thursday afternoon!!*
Wednesday (day at home)
More packing to be done. And feeding JCH sweet potato puree!! He doesn't quite fancy it. I guess he doesn't like starchy purees like banana and sweet potato. And as usual, feeding him puree takes up a good part of the day bcos gotta feed him slowly, entertain him while feeding, keep the hands from grabbing the spoon or my hands or the cup or eating his bib, cleaning his hands so that he doesn't put a fistful of puree into his eyes. Its a major task for the moment. Followed by the cleaning afterwards. Big job! Haha..and i've just found out that sweet potato puree, after u thaw it and warm it, u gotta pour hot water and stir it so that its not so blockish and lumpy.  I have just realized that!!
Was actually looking at the possibility of clinching a home based job short term, but things didn't work out. Well, there's always the next time. *fingers crossed*
Thursday (kiasu restocking day!! And my friend popped!!)
Being the 12% rebate day at Tangs, plus some of my birthday month perks going on for my skincare and cosmetics products, i've taken this chance to head out and do some restocking..just enough to last me till next TW trip. Seriously, buying cosmetics and skincare products are so much cheaper, and they are more willing to offer bundle buys and free samples. Last year when i was in TW with hubs for honeymoon, they were having Mother's Day celebration that week at Sogo. I say, really bought almost enough to last me for one and half year (including the free samples that they throw in)!!! Except for compact powder, which i didn't buy for fear that when i reach home they'll turn into loose powders! My basic primer+sun block, toner lotion, moisturizer, eye shadow, blush..at least a year's stock. So shiok! Went shopping at H&M vivo too. Let's just say i haven't been updating my wardrobe for..nearly 2years? Well, my previous work doesn't require me to be fashionable or pretty..just need to be comfortable. Plus during pregnancy period, didn't buy alot of fancy pieces. Only basic long tanks from Cotton On for $10 per piece. I'm too lazy to be tiptop in fashion plus have always been an advocator of wearing your own style. Which was improved greatly by a dear friend of mine (rach) whom i haven't met in long time since after giving birth. Before she educated me about style and fashion, im like a walking country pumpkin! Haha!
Was really grateful that JCH was totally well behaved throughout my walking around. Sat in his limo, taking in the sights and sounds, requesting for his paci sometimes, talking, and falling asleep without me realizing for a moment!! Can tell that sleeping on the stroller ain't the most comfy for him, cos whenever we reach home and put him onto the bed, he do like 5minutes of stretching, plus super long period of napping.
Anyways, after getting everything, rushed home to unload n pack all the stuff. Cos gonna go visit MissyK who just delivered like on Wed?? Another baby!! Yayyyy!! Baby and mother are safe and well. And the usuals - mother getting used to baby handling and adjusting to new role, new lifestyle. A lot of learning to be done, not to mention the readjusting of expectations, priorities and life planning. Having a baby is not just..simple as saying plainly "having a baby". What comes with it, is really a huge restructuring of your life and that of your families.
And by which time now i've just remembered that i've forgotten to confirm play date with hotmamaC!! Graaaahhhh!!!
Friday~~TGIF (laundry lady at work..)
Well, most part of today was doing the laundry. When there's two people laundry in the house, you can imagine the clash in laundry schedule. Plus hdb is just getting so small, the laundry space is just so pathetic. So there i was, rearranging the clothes MIL hung out to dry, so that i can clear the washing machine to wash my clothes, plus make some space to hang my clothes later. Put my clothes to wash and by the time i reached downstairs to packet brunch its already around 1145. Haiz..starving!! Rushed home to eat before JCH starts "ordering" his lunch.
Same as usual, after feeding played around with him, and when he starts demanding for sleep, gotta put him to sleep before i can hang out my laundry to dry. No idea why, but JCH was rather clingy this afternoon. Hanging of my laundry was interrupted twicd by his suddem cries while napping. When finally done with the chore, he cried again. Thought he wanted milk as it was near to tea break hour, but no..he just wanted to be carried to sleep. So had to spend like about half hour allowing him to get back to slp in my arms, before putting him down on the playmat in the living room.
JCH is being a little sticky for attention this week on the whole. So much so that somethings don't get finished on time and gotta finish later in the night sometimes. And this post was started on a Thursday afternoon. Meant to post by Thurs night, but it dragged to Friday and now Sunday 1am. And there's still things unfinished but just tired. For his afternoon naps, sometimes he would suddenly wake up crying, only willing to go back to sleep being carried in a certain awkward position. -.-"" Also now that he's older a little, he demands more interesting play. Can't leave him with his animal friends all the time now. Plus haven't bought any interesting toys for him yet. Most of it are still plushies.
Alrightie, now that the boss is asleep, time for me to sleep too. Got alot to carry on clearing tomorrow. *panda eyed* Feel so depressed seeing the mess in my wardrobe..
