Active active!!

Its been a very active day of moving about today. Making a quick and short return to my mom's place to retrieve a better looking not-so-lok-kok bag to use for subsequent wedding luncheons/dinners, and then returning home to feed JCH his sweet potato for today, changing and washing everything that's on our bed and his own cot, his clothes..and hubs lowered down JCH's bed level!! He's getting a little too heavy for me to bend over and put him into his ikea cot, even at the higher level. There were a few times when i had near miss with shoulder and neck cramps after putting him down in his cot. Now this will be so much easier! I just pray that i don't roll over and share sleeping space with JCH! Hohoho..

If you've realized, the cot bumper is tall. Yes its tall, because i (machine)sewed 2 cot bumpers from ikea together! Being very kiasu mommy, i am worried that as JCH grows bigger, that his night time bed flipflops would see his little chubby limbs getting stuck between those wooden sticks, both at high level and low level. So to be EXTRA cautious, i doubled the height of the bumper! Didn't do a good job of sewing it together, but hey, as long as its functional. I'm not in a sewing contest. XP

After i was done washing all the stuff in the toilet, i was greeted by a really cute and sweet sight: hubs had put JCH to sleep and he fell asleep on our bed just next to his baby. I can't help but smile at that scene, and be reminded that hubs did his first attempt at changing JCH to a new set of sleeping clothes on his own after helping to change baby's diapers (bcos JCH drooled and munched his hands so much, the collar area of his onsies and the ends of the long sleeves were literally soaked with his baby perfume!!). Its a sweet gesture from hubs, daddy-son bonding!

Amidst all the actions, i have managed to squeeze some pockets of time out to do some editing of the blog using com. I had set out to blog about moments of us and JCH, and thought, why not pay it forward? See, i had been, have been very blessed since the discovery of my pregnancy last year. People all round have been sharing advise, experience and all with hubs and i, and also we have received a fair bit of hand-me-downs of all sorts that really eased the setting up costs for JCH's inventory. So now i'm trying to help my friends who are preggy or just had their first baby, so why not include the readers of this blog too?

I've put up (and will continue putting up) pages with topics, info and experience close to my heart, hoping that it will be of help to anyone. Please bear with me for the moment as i make this blog more exciting to go about yes?
